Job summary

Sanilac County Community Mental Health Authority seeks an Admin Supervisor – Finance/Billing to lead the finance and billing functions, supervise staff, and provide reporting and project support to the CFO.

Key duties include coordinating billing with third-party payers, ensuring compliance with MDHHS/Medicaid standards, and enabling cost projections and rate configurations with strong multitasking and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in billing to third party billers.
• Three (3) years’ experience working in the Public Mental Health field in an administrative role.
• Minimum of ten (10) year’s supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce reports for agency programs as requested and assigned by the CFO.
• Coordinate billing/finance related projects with the CFO, e.g.: billing of third-party payers, encounters, PQRS.
• Stay up to date on code, service, and payer information; act as a resource to staff and CFO.
• Assist with audits/reviews/POC in the billing department and with cost/revenue projections for programs.
