Job summary

Sanilac County Community Mental Health Authority in Sandusky, MI, seeks an Admin Supervisor – Finance/Billing to lead the finance and billing teams. Under the CFO, you will supervise staff, develop reports, oversee third-party billing, and ensure compliance with Medicaid and MDHHS standards.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree, 15+ years in third-party billing, 10+ years of supervisory experience, and strong interpersonal and multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 15+ years’ experience in billing to third party billers.
• Three (3) years’ experience in Public Mental Health in an administrative role.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce reports for agency programs as requested by the CFO.
• Coordinate billing/finance related projects with the CFO (third-party billing, encounters, PQRS).
• Stay up to date on code, service, and payer information and act as a resource to staff and CFO.
• Assist with audits/reviews and with rate configuration and projection of cost/revenue.
• Train department staff in billing and finance tasks; ensure compliance with MDHHS and Medicaid standards.
