Job summary

Sanilac County CMH is seeking an Admin Supervisor – Finance/Billing for the CMH Administration Building. The role reports to the CFO, oversees finance and billing staff, and leads projects to improve reimbursement processes.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and extensive billing experience with third-party payers, plus significant supervisory and emergency project-management capabilities. Salary is competitive within the public mental health sector, with a weekday 7:30am–5:00pm schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, with 15 years’ experience in billing to third party billers.
• Three (3) years’ experience in the Public Mental Health field in an administrative role.
• Minimum of ten (10) year’s supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce reports for agency programs as requested by the CFO.
• Coordinate billing/finance related projects with the CFO, including third-party payer billing.
• Stay up to date on code, service, and payer information and act as a resource to staff and CFO.
• Assist with audits/reviews and POC in the billing department.
• Assist with rate configuration and projecting cost/revenue for proposed programs.
