State of Florida in Lee County is seeking an Operations Analyst I to support the Finance and Accounting functions. The role involves applying professional accounting techniques and assisting in day-to-day operations, reporting, and budgeting under supervision of the Finance and Accounting Administrator SES.

The position includes internal control reviews, billing oversight, data entry, and collaboration with billing and HMS reporting teams.

Qualifications

• Experience using computers for data entry, email, and office software.
• Ability to review data for accuracy and completeness.
• Skill in organizing documents, maintaining filing systems, and tracking information.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for a semiannually review the internal control and segregation of duties of DOH Lee.
• Monitors medicine inventories at the clinics on a quarterly basis.
• Technician for Swim Voucher Program, receive applications, verify eligibility and assign vouchers.
• Manage the budget for the Swim program, tracking and reconciling transactions.
• Prepare PO, SOW and reports.
• Uploads EOBs from insurance companies daily to the Sarasota Billing Hub for processing.
• Collaborate with the Billing liaison with the HMS reports.
• Assist with Insurance verification.
• Quality improvement for billing including daily billing audits; provider reports and feedback to Management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Assists Billing Operations Analysts I as needed.
