Job summary

CPSFL in South Florida is seeking a dynamic Finance Billing Coordinator to join our mission-driven team. This full-time role supports the monthly billing process for key funding partners, ensures invoices are accurate and timely, and maintains proper documentation and reconciliation.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, have 1–3 years billing experience, and are proficient with spreadsheets and accounting software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or closely related degree.
• 1–3 years of billing, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or general accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and accounting software.
• Experience with nonprofit, grant, contract, or program billing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly invoices to designated organizations.
• Gather and verify supporting documentation needed for monthly billing.
• Maintain billing schedules and track submission deadlines.
• Reconcile invoices to supporting records and identify discrepancies.
• Follow up on outstanding billing questions and documentation.
• Enter and maintain billing information in the accounting system.
• Assist with accounts receivable tracking and payment reconciliation.
• Maintain organized billing files and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
• Assist the Finance team with month‑end activities and other accounting‑related tasks as needed.
