Job summary

Alcon is seeking an Associate - Business Planning & Analysis to support the US Surgical Finance team in Fort Worth, TX. You will analyze financial results, review pricing requests, and help forecast and plan performance across Commercial Programs and Deal Desk.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Sales, Legal, IT, and commercial operations, with a focus on accuracy and process improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• 0-2 years of relevant experience in Finance, Analytics, Business Planning, Pricing, Sales Operations, Commercial Finance, or related disciplines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other reporting tools
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across functional teams
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions and drive value for Alcon.
• Support pricing governance by reviewing quotes, contracts, and pricing requests for compliance with established guidelines.
• Maintain and enhance reporting tools, dashboards, and financial models used across the Surgical Finance organization.
• Assist with forecasting, planning, and business performance analysis.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, IT, and Commercial Operations to support commercial initiatives.
• Analyze business trends and provide insights on pricing, programs, and financial performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate workflows, and increase efficiency.
• Support strategic projects across Commercial Programs, Deal Desk, Business Planning & Analysis, and Strategic Pricing.
