Job summary

Daley And Associates, LLC is seeking a Finance Manager – Real Estate in Boston, hybrid work arrangement. You will lead fund-level financial reporting under US GAAP and oversee reporting for a portfolio of direct real estate investments.

The role spans multifamily, life sciences, industrial, and more; you will partner with cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff while driving process improvements, including technology and AI.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant real estate accounting experience.
• Experience with real estate investment management is preferred.
• Strong understanding of real estate valuation, portfolio operations and financial reporting.
• Fund reporting and/or public accounting experience.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Yardi experience is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quarterly and annual fund-level financial reporting under US GAAP and fair value accounting.
• Provide accounting and reporting oversight for a portfolio of direct real estate investments.
• Review promote and management fee calculations, ownership transfers and complex transactions.
• Analyze fund cash positions and coordinate capital calls, distributions and investment funding.
• Partner with Investment, Asset Management, Tax, Legal, IR, Compliance and other teams.
• Coordinate with fund administrators, JV partners and external auditors.
• Support valuations, acquisitions, dispositions and refinancings.
• Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members.
• Drive process improvements, including the use of technology and AI.

I'm working on a Finance Manager opportunity with a leading global investment firm’s real estate platform. This is a high-visibility role within a growing finance team, supporting both investment fund reporting and a diverse portfolio of direct real estate investments.

The portfolio spans sectors including multifamily, life sciences, industrial, retail, senior housing, self-storage and medical office, providing broad exposure to complex real estate investments and fund structures.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee quarterly and annual fund-level financial reporting under US GAAP and fair value accounting
• Provide accounting and reporting oversight for a portfolio of direct real estate investments
• Review promote and management fee calculations, ownership transfers and complex transactions
