Job summary

The University Of Virginia Alumni Association seeks a Finance Associate to support day-to-day accounts receivable, accounts payable, and UVA Fund client needs. You will process transactions, resolve billing questions, and help maintain accurate financial records for internal and external clients.

• Degree in accounting/finance or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Process AR/AP transactions and vendor payments accurately and on schedule.
• Reconcile AR and AP subledgers to the general ledger and flag discrepancies.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation for all AR/AP transactions.
• Monitor aging receivables and follow up on outstanding balances professionally.
• Provide responsive client service on billing questions and resolutions.
• Support month-end close with reconciliations and schedules.
• Maintain vendor and client records and respond to inquiries.
