Job summary

The COOL company, a global AI-powered advertising technology leader, is seeking an Assistant Manager of accounting and finance to scale our day-to-day processes across entities. You will manage AR/AP, monthly close, invoicing, and payroll while supporting CEO and Director of Finance on ad hoc projects.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in finance/accounting, a Bachelor's in Accounting (CPA/CA preferred), and strong Excel/financial modelling skills.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication.
Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
Understanding of GAAP principles.

Responsibilities

Performs day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping for The COOL company and its subsidiaries.
Codes invoices, sets up accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes monthly books.
Processes publisher/customer payments per company guidelines.
Creates monthly invoicing for publishers and applies payments.
Responds to payment inquiries from publishers or staff.
Calculates commissions and bonuses for Sales and Account Managers quarterly.
Assists with processing of salaries and contractor payments.
Reconciles cash disbursement accounts, payroll, and accounts receivable; manages collections.
Assists with financial modelling and updates internal models post month-end.
Verifies and pays invoices, charging to appropriate accounts.
