Job summary

Stange Law Firm, PC is seeking a motivated, analytical Finance Assistant to join our Finance Department at the firm's headquarters. The position is based in Clayton, Missouri, and will relocate to our new headquarters in Creve Coeur, Missouri, on August 1, 2026.

Salary is $50,000-$70,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience, with bonus opportunities. This role offers growth alongside executive leadership on strategic financial initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
• One to three years of finance or accounting experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with financial planning, reporting, and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare financial forecasts, balance sheet projections, and cash flow projections.
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts.
• Perform financial modeling and complex analyses.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Evaluate feasibility of new office locations and expansion opportunities.
• Analyze pricing and return on investment.
• Assist with financial reporting and automation improvements.
• Prepare year-end audit support.
• Assist with special projects and operational initiatives.
• Support the Finance Director with additional financial and operational initiatives.
