Job summary

Blue Ops seeks a Finance & Analytics Manager to lead operational finance, budgeting, forecasting, and analytics. You will develop financial models, generate reports, and deliver data-driven insights for clients across multiple sectors.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with opportunities to automate reporting and improve processes using Power BI, DAX, SQL, and Python. Leadership experience is not required but independence is valued.

Qualifications

• Strong grounding in accounting and the three financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Strong written and verbal communication across levels.
• Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and data storytelling.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced or ambiguous environments.
• Experience managing timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional communication.
• Hands-on experience with DAX, SQL and/or Python (a plus — not required).

Responsibilities

• Lead or support client projects from inception to completion.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with clients.
• Design, advise, and support implementation of finance and analytics processes.
• Develop financial models to support planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Analyze financial and operational data to inform client decisions.
• Present findings and recommendations to clients.
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards (Power BI) for client reporting.
• Conduct data analysis using Excel and SQL/DAX/Python to drive insights.
• Monitor progress and mitigate risks on projects.
• Manage 1–2 direct reports.
