Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Finance Intern in Richmond, VA, to work on real FP&A analytics projects and build dashboards using Power BI, R, and Python. You will collaborate with leaders across the organization and gain hands-on experience with SQL and data visualization in a Fortune 100 company.

You will contribute to ad-hoc analyses, learn Snowflake data environment, and present findings to stakeholders, preparing you for a career in corporate finance and analytics.

Qualifications

• Must be in close proximity to Richmond, VA.
• Must be a rising senior pursuing a degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science or related field.
• Demonstrated experience with an analytical coding language (R or Python preferred).
• Relevant coursework in Data Science, Statistics/Machine Learning, or Econometrics.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• SQL or Power BI exposure a plus.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist FP&A Finance team with dashboard development to enhance analyses.
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support data-driven decisions.
• Learn the PFG data environment in Snowflake and overhaul dashboards.
• Support the team with analysis in Excel, Power BI, and R/Python.
• Present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
