Mass. Electric Construction Co. is seeking an entry-level Financial Analyst to support project accounting and finance tasks for large-scale projects. The role covers cost control, payroll, A/P and A/R, and month-end close activities.

Based in the US, the position requires up to 50% travel/relocation and a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook is expected, with strong communication and organizational skills essential.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of financial/data analysis experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, and/or equivalent degree.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Ability to relocate anywhere in the country.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Travel and/or relocation may be required for this position (up to 50%).
• Experience with Pivot Tables and V-Lookups is preferred.
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to access all parts of a construction site.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• United States work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cost control and forecasting for projects.
• Support payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and HR processes.
• Contribute to month-end close and financial reporting packages.
• Help maintain internal controls over purchasing and billing workflows.
• Support cost reporting and budgeting analyses.
• Collaborate with field and office teams to ensure accurate data.
