Position Purpose

The Finance Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data across a portfolio of companies. This role involves managing all financial transactions for fiduciary contracts, including forensic accounting, reconciliation, audit preparedness, and financial reporting to ensure the company's financial health and regulatory compliance.

How You Impact Success
  1. Financial Analysis: Provide comprehensive financial analysis, planning, and reporting support, including modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance evaluation to guide strategic decisions and improve financial processes.
  2. Fiduciary Accounting: Manage trust assets and accounts, maintain accurate records, ensure legal compliance, and prepare detailed financial reports for stakeholders.
  3. Forensic Accounting: Conduct investigations to identify discrepancies, detect fraud, reconstruct records, and support risk mitigation in collaboration with audit, compliance, and legal teams.
Requirements
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as an accounting analyst, bookkeeper, staff accountant, or similar role.
  • Proven skills in accounting, including debits, credits, and GAAP.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe, Bill.com, Harvest, and Click-up is highly desired.
  • CA residency is required.

Working Hours and Location

Standard hours Monday-Friday, primarily remote, with occasional travel. Candidates must be California residents.

Travel Requirements

Up to 5% local and domestic travel.

Compensation

Base pay: $36/hour, approximately 20 hours/week.
