Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Financial Analyst 2 to partner with Finance and Business partner teams to develop long-range plans, annual budgets, and weekly forecasts. You will produce ad hoc analyses and models for strategic initiatives, with a strong eye for detail and timely communication to stakeholders.

Hybrid work arrangement (in-office Tuesday–Thursday) with opportunities to support store operations from the Store Support Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field is required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 1–3 years of relevant experience in budgeting, planning, modeling, and forecasting.
• Experience with budgeting, planning, modeling, and forecasting systems.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and analysis of financial data and statements preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration with finance and leadership.
• Grocery or Retail experience is preferred.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, and ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support development of long-range financial planning, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts.
• Refresh and understand financial models to provide recommendations to leaders.
• Support P&L forecast processes and highlight key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Analyze financial drivers to aid business leaders and propose solutions.
• Support strategic initiatives and implementation efforts.
• Generate weekly and monthly reporting on key metrics for department leadership.
• Collaborate with analysts to streamline processes and utilize Workday, Adaptive, and Power BI.
