Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. seeks a Space Planning Analyst II to manage and analyze performance data, collaborating with Category Managers to develop schematics for new stores, remodels, and category resets.

You will support decisions on new/discontinued items and assist in speed to shelf initiatives, with a focus on assortment performance and future modifications. You will develop and maintain financial and other reports to display progress of the department, working closely with supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 1-year experience in Merchandising with experience in the Natural Foods industry; a combination of education and experience to be considered
• Strong knowledge of the fundamental concepts and processes to support schematic development, assortment management, and retail implementation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, analytical and decision-making skills, and ability to work on cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Category Manager and others to develop analytically driven, fact based, space efficient, customer centric, and store friendly schematics.Assist in maximizing sales through the utilization of Space Management
• Software to build and maintain accurate optimized schematics.
• Perform business analysis and problem-solving activities related to category review processes.
• Analyze performance of implemented schematics based on sales metrics and reporting tools.
• Proactively perform quality reviews for the assigned area of responsibility to ensure accuracy and clear communication.
• Drive timeline deliverables for schematic execution.
• Ensure schematic changes are executed and are consistent with internal policies and procedures.
• Create opening product orders for new store development.
• Assist in developing databases that help streamline information flow from the Schematic Department to the Directors, Category Managers, stores, and vendor partners.
