Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI seeks a Material Freight Lead Analyst to analyze freight costs, build data models, and drive network cost efficiencies within MP&L. This role partners with the NA Material Logistics team, supporting budgeting and year-over-year efficiency targets.

The candidate will develop models, prepare accruals, and lead regulatory reporting while maintaining Python/Alteryx workflows and collaborating with Global Controller and accounting teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• Strong data analysis and modeling skills.
• Experience with data tools and financial planning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large data sets to identify freight payment trends for forecasting and reporting.
• Understand logistics network operation, carrier contract economics and payment systems.
• Lead cost reduction initiatives and support budgeting and business planning.
