You will partner with the Vehicle Program Director, Chief Program Engineer, Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure every dollar spent delivers maximum value to customers and the company.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent required.
• 7+ years in automotive product development.
• Experience in design, sourcing, or cost analysis of key vehicle components.

Responsibilities

• Champion cost culture across the organization with clear cost-management rules.
• Use multiple data sources to identify cost opportunities in models and commodities.
• Prepare for Cost Loop workshops with research from benchmarking and internal data.
• Lead Cost Loop workshops to build bottom-up cost status by commodity.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Cost Estimating to disposition opportunities.
• Develop ad-hoc What-If cost studies to inform decisions.
• Represent Material Cost attributes at program forums and partner with cost teams.
