Job summary

Bloomberg Industry Group is seeking a skilled software/data professional to design and deliver data-driven solutions powering finance-facing AI and automation initiatives. You will own data architecture, ensure governance, and collaborate with AI teams to create scalable pipelines and APIs.

Candidates should have a strong track record in distributed software delivery, cloud tech (AWS), and DevSecOps practices, with the ability to influence decisions and reduce project complexity across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of software development using modern software engineering principles.
• Experience delivering production-grade applications.
• Experience leading project deliverables and driving efficiency.
• Strong Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and deliver high-quality code following INDG best practices.
• Architect data models/pipelines for financial reporting, forecasting and audit data.
• Partner with Finance and Enterprise AI teams to define data standards and lineage.
• Build scalable, governed data infrastructure (warehousing, ETL/ELT, APIs) for AI apps.
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance (SOX, audit trails).
• Collaborate with AI engineers to expose clean, structured data for LLM tools.
