Job summary

Washington State University is seeking a CAHNRS Finance & Administration Fiscal Specialist to provide expert fiscal support, including budget analyses, reconciliations, and funding coordination for CAHNRS initiatives at the Pullman campus. The role requires 2 years of relevant experience and accounting coursework, strong communication skills, and proficiency with financial systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience at a level equivalent to Fiscal Specialist 1 and 15 quarter hours or 10 semester hours of college-level accounting.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skill proficiency of financial, administrative systems, or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized fiscal support for CAHNRS, including budget monitoring and monthly reconciliations.
• Review expenditures, track commitments, and identify funding sources.
• Coordinate personnel/payroll actions and assist with salary allocations and reporting.
• Perform policy reviews and analyses related to CAHNRS personnel actions.
