Job summary

Snohomish Conservation District is seeking a Finance and Administrative Manager (Limited Term) to lead finance, payroll, grants, and administrative functions during maternity leave coverage. The role oversees the Business Operations team, implements new financial, timesheet, and grant management systems, and ensures accurate reporting across funds and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of supervisory or program management experience.
• Experience implementing, configuring, or administering financial, payroll, or timekeeping software.
• Experience with accounting software; proficiency with Excel and Word.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
• Ability to learn complex systems quickly and become a reliable resource to others.
• Extremely organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong leadership, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Must hold a valid Washington State driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Software implementation and systems support for financial, timekeeping, and grant management software.
• Financial management and oversight across funds, grants, and programs; month-end close, payroll, grant billing, and reporting.
• Team supervision and coordination of the Business Operations group; oversee HR, payroll, and contracts.
• Human resources and personnel administration, including confidential records and payroll handoffs.
