Job summary

Prescott’s, Inc. is a leading medical device services company based in Monument, CO. We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance and Accounting Specialist to join our finance department and support the monthly close, reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.

This role helps maintain financial health and GAAP compliance while delivering actionable insights for strategic goals. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting/finance experience, a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s preferred),

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries for monthly close.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts to GAAP standards.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare financial reports and perform variance & trend analyses.
• Assist with external audits by providing required documentation.
• Support tax compliance activities including sales, payroll, and corporate income tax returns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and improve processes.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Support NetSuite system implementations and process improvements.
