Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Required).
• CPA certification required.
• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or controller-level responsibilities.
• Experience with financial reporting, payroll, tax preparation, and client accounting services.
• Public accounting experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and bookkeeping functions, including bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts including fixed assets, loans, debt, and equity.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and vendor payments.
• Oversee payroll processing, payroll tax reconciliations, W-2 reporting, and related liabilities.
• Prepare and file sales tax returns.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze financial reports and investigate variances.
• Prepare and review business and individual tax returns.
• Communicate financial information and recommendations to clients.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiencies.
