CPA or progress toward one is preferred, with 4+ years in real estate or financial services accounting, strong QuickBooks/Excel/Salesforce skills, and

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting or audit experience within real estate, financial services, or related professional services
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
• CPA, or actively pursuing licensure
• Comfort with QuickBooks, Excel, and Salesforce; interest in improving systems as the company grows
• Leadership experience with senior leadership and curiosity about the numbers and business operations

Responsibilities

• Own the accounting operation: manage AP, AR, and GL with strong controls
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team; build a culture that attracts and retains talent
• Deliver month-end close and reporting package for leadership
• Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial decisions
• Oversee cash management across entities; monitor liquidity and approvals
• Build dashboards and KPIs to make numbers actionable for the business
• Lead systems upgrades and process improvements, automate where possible
• Serve as point person for external auditors and tax advisors; ensure audit readiness
