Job summary

Blackbird Recruiting is seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager in Middletown, NY to oversee daily accounting operations and deliver accurate financial reporting. You will manage key accounting functions, mentor the team, and provide financial insights to drive business decisions.

Responsibilities include managing accounts payable/receivable, payroll, month-end close, budgeting and forecasting, and maintaining strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 5 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience managing accounting operations and teams.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and account reconciliations
• Manage month-end close and financial reporting processes
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures
