Job summary
Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Manager in our Energy & Chemicals F&A practice in the Houston area. You will lead transformation, performance improvement, and transaction-related engagements for private equity and corporate clients in energy, working with CFOs and senior stakeholders.
The role requires strong F&A fundamentals, experience in energy, CPA, and a track record in consulting or public accounting. Travel domestically/internationally is anticipated within a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Strong Finance & Accounting foundation within Energy organizations.
- Big Four or equivalent consulting/public accounting experience.
- CPA is required or equivalent certification.
Responsibilities
- Lead F&A transformation and performance engagements for Energy clients.
- Coordinate workstreams and project teams to meet timelines.
- Partner with CFOs and finance leaders to address critical issues and provide solutions.
- Assess finance organizations, processes, and systems for improvements.
- Develop client-ready analyses and executive-level recommendations.
- Oversee project deliverables and quality control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional experts to deliver integrated solutions.
- Support business development and client relationships.
