Job Summary:
Trinity River Distillery—Home of Silver Star Spirits and Devils Grin-Texas Gin—is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance/Accounting Manager to support daily accounting functions, analytics & planning, and A&P execution for our distillery team. This position plays a critical role in managing the company's overall investments.

Work to be done
A&P Management
· Manage and oversee all daily accounting functions including:
— Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
— Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts
— Perform bank and other financial account reconciliations
— Manage banking activities including ACH transactions and positive pay
— Oversee/coordinate all payroll and HR functions
— Perform all state sales tax filings
— Prepare financial statements
— Coordinate all federal and state income tax filings with CPA
— Manage purchase orders (POs)
— Maintain clean and current data
— Support A&P plans management and identify risks and opportunities
— Set up new vendor accounts
— Liaise with HR for payroll and benefits
Financial Management & Reporting
— Facilitate A&P close processes, including hard close, accrual review, and validation
— Manage facility & production accounting processes, including vendor accruals and year-end close
— Address auditor inquiries and testing
— Maintain and update A&P documentation and programs based on marketing input
— Process facility, production, and marketing billings promptly
— Serve as subject matter expert for day-to-day A&P process questions
— Lead monthly expense report reconciliation
— Support ad-hoc analysis and requests
— Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to prepare financial slides for reviews
Required Experience:
— Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
— 8+ years of accounting experience
