Points North, the leading software company specializing in compliance and reporting solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Accounting & Finance Manager to join our growing team. This role acts as a trusted advisor, providing data-driven insights on key performance indicators and standardized business metrics to leadership, customers, and other team members. We are seeking an individual who can leverage technical skills in financial planning, systems, and tools to lead process and strategy improvements. This position is ideal for someone seeking a role with a strong blend of autonomy and collaboration.

This role is remote-eligible; however, preference will be given to candidates located near our offices in Bloomington, MN.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Lead and manage the accounting team by providing accountability, performance measurement, and coaching.
2. Oversee and ensure accuracy in financial transactions, month-end reconciliations, and financial reporting.
3. Collaborate cross-departmentally to support organizational objectives.
4. Analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable insights.
5. Develop and implement automation processes to support scalability and efficiency.
6. Manage and execute monthly commission process for the sales team.
7. Ensure month-end financials are reconciled properly.
8. Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and effectively.
9. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations.
10. Own the process of calculating and remitting referral fees due to partners.

Qualifications:

1. 4-6+ Years' of Accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a SaaS and/or recurring revenue environment.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent and relevant working experience.
3. Experience in billing and collections, preferably in a SaaS environment.
4. System and data-driven experience.
5. Experience with cloud-based accounting and billing software.

For this position the base salary range is $100,000 - $115,000 per year, plus annual bonus eligibility. Final compensation determinations will reflect your unique experience, skills, and the responsibilities of the role.
