Job summary

Internships are housed in Corporate Financial Services, covering Financial Reporting, Insurance Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Systems Governance, and Accounting Controls.

Qualifications

• Major in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or related degree with 12 accounting credits preferred.
• Minimum 3.2 GPA (overall and major).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong problem‑solving and project management skills.
• Ability to influence and develop collaborative relationships.
• Hybrid work environment.
• Interest in CNA as a long‑term career opportunity.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Internships are available within CNA's Corporate Financial Services (CFS) department, including Financial Reporting, Insurance Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Systems Governance and Accounting Controls.
• The employee will report to an experienced manager and work in a team of other CNA Finance staff.
• Intern will receive on‑the‑job training and classroom training developed for the program on insurance accounting and CNA’s methodologies.
• Participants will gain valuable skills, competencies, and knowledge within the corporate accounting world.
