Northwestern Medicine Accounting Internship offers undergraduate students hands-on experience in journal entries, account analysis, and project work at our downtown Chicago campus. Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Completion of at least the sophomore year of study.
• Understanding of advanced accounting concepts.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices, payment requests, and supporting documentation for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries.
• Reconcile vendor statements and financial discrepancies.
• Monitor invoice aging and support timely payments.
• Assist with month-end close activities and reports.
• Support system testing and special projects as assigned.
