Job summary

Progressive Leasing is seeking a contract recruiter for accounting & finance to drive full-cycle recruitment end-to-end. The role focuses on building pipelines and managing requisitions across finance functions while partnering with hiring managers to deliver quality hires on a contracting basis.

You will source, screen, and present candidates, coordinate interviews, and guide offers while maintaining an efficient ATS and delivering timely updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience focused on accounting and finance placement.
• Proven placements from staff accountant through controller or finance director.
• Familiar with month-end close, GAAP, revenue recognition, FP&A, and ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday, and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Run intake calls with hiring managers and translate into a written search strategy.
• Source passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and networks.
• Screen for technical depth—distinguish candidates who owned month-end close from those who reconciled accounts.
• Write and post job ads that read like a person wrote them.
• Submit qualified candidates with a written summary covering fit, comp expectations, reason for move, notice period, and offer risk.
• Coordinate interviews, prep candidates, run debriefs, and keep candidates warm throughout the process.
• Manage offer conversations including compensation negotiation and start date alignment.
• Keep the ATS current daily with notes, stages, and dispositions.
• Report weekly on pipeline health: sourced, screened, submitted, interviewed, offers out, and blockers.
