Job summary

DLC, an Addison Group Company, is hiring experienced Accounting & Finance Consultants in Chicago for full-time salaried roles. You will support clients across interim and project-based accounting needs, engaging with executives on high-impact initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Business Admin with Accounting focus
• 2+ years Big 4/top public accounting experience preferred
• 4+ years corporate general ledger experience
• CPA certification desired
• Experience drafting SEC filings (10-Q/10-K) preferred
• Solid GAAP knowledge
• SOX internal control knowledge preferred
• ERP systems experience (SAP/Oracle)
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and multitask effectively
• Strong accounting knowledge and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close and reporting package development
• Prepare SEC filings and analyze new FASB pronouncements
• Lead post-merger integrations and coordinate audits
• Develop internal control policies to strengthen financial reporting
• Lead financial system implementations and upgrades
• Design charts of accounts and create financial reports
• Document current-state processes and improve workflows
• Provide interim finance leadership during growth or reorganizations
