Job summary

Allegro Home Delivery in Utah is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee fulfillment teams, directing drivers and independent contractors to ensure timely deliveries of large-scale items. You will recruit drivers, manage workflow, train staff, and coordinate with clients and carriers to maximize productivity.

The role emphasizes safety, inventory accuracy, and strong communication across departments in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a logistics or fulfillment environment.
• Experience supervising and managing people.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documents.

Responsibilities

• Run crews and direct drivers, ensuring loads are completed accurately and timely.
• Monitor performance of independent contractors and employee drivers.
• Recruit new independent contractors and driving teams as needed.
• Coordinate and manage workflow for assigned employees.
• Ensure adequate staffing and participate in hiring when needed.
• Support, mentor, and motivate teams.
• Facilitate training to maximize productivity, accuracy, and safety.
• Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and transport companies.
• Work with drivers to ensure product delivery.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory control.
• Ensure warehouse staff enter data in inventory systems.
• Communicate with other departments for smooth operations.
• Address lost/missing product issues and resolve.
• Process daily paperwork related to job execution.
