Job summary

Diakon Logistics is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily appliance final-mile delivery operations, strengthen client partnerships, and drive growth. You’ll oversee compliance, profitability, and service performance while coaching teams and developing contractor capabilities.

This hands-on leadership role requires experience in final-mile delivery, strong business sense, and the ability to build cross-functional teams that exceed goals.

Qualifications

Proven leadership to drive performance.
Hands-on appliance final-mile delivery and installation experience.
Strong communication and client relationship skills; bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage a fleet of independent delivery contractors, including recruitment, weekly performance reviews, and skills checks.
Ensure daily compliance before tendering routes; monitor loadouts and conduct weekly field audits.
Validate and correct in-home appliance installation procedures.
Build and maintain client relationships to secure additional routes for revenue growth.
Oversee P&L, including delivery/operating expenses, claims processes, travel, and budgets.
Participate in weekly operations meetings and client calls; provide location updates to Regional Manager.
