Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a hands-on warehouse leader to establish procedures for shipment verification, inventory control, and equipment maintenance. You will coordinate with customer service, sales, and engineering to ensure efficient workflows and compliance with safety standards.

You will manage payroll for direct reports, mentor supervisors and hourly staff, and drive continuous improvement across warehousing operations, including KPI tracking and cost management.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience or training, or equivalent education
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business materials
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures
• Ability to present information to groups of managers, clients, and the public
• Ability to solve practical problems in varying conditions
• Experience with warehouse ops and safety standards

Responsibilities

• Establishes operational procedures for shipments and inventory
• Maintains warehouse equipment and facilities
• Coordinates with customer service and sales
• Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction through communication
• Ensures safe, compliant warehouse operations and KPI targets
• Manages budget and P&L for the operation
• Leads staffing, interviews, and performance appraisals
• Addresses complaints and resolves issues
