Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) in Keosauqua, Iowa, is hiring for an Assembler II – Final Assembly. You will complete refrigeration cases per quality standards and work orders, including sub-assemblies, wiring, and installing components.

This role requires reading BOMs, identifying parts, and using measuring tools with safety as a priority. The position is hourly/non-exempt with a strong emphasis on teamwork, accuracy, and adherence to production schedules.

Read and comprehend a job order and bill of materials.

Responsibilities

Read and comprehend a job order and bill of materials.
Identify parts used on their assigned product line and their placement on the product.
Identify power and hand tools used on their assigned product line.
Perform assembly-type functions using hand or power tools.
Identify parts and part descriptions using work order information.
Use material gauging dimensions and measuring instruments.
Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets or fasteners.
Identify maintenance needs on equipment and tooling.
Utilize electrical testing equipment like dielectric testers or voltage meters.
Work at different workstations as production needs require.
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
Use safety equipment and apparel as required.
Perform other duties as assigned
