Qualifications

• Ability to use measuring tools such as thickness gauge, calipers, and micrometers.
• Manufacturing process aptitude.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to make sound judgments based on objective measures.
• Regular attendance.
• Ability to perform repetitive work.
• Ability to sit or stand for 8 hours.
• Ability to safely lift 40 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Performs Final Assembly operations on instruments.
• Wipes and inspects instruments following plating and prior to shipping.
• Adheres to all policies, procedures and quality standards.
• Follows safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Maintains a clean, orderly work area.
• Installs accessory parts and adjusts for proper function.
• Grinds or hones valves and pistons to correct clearance.
• Laps piston guide keys as needed.
• Washes instruments and parts free of lapping compound.
• Inspects machining on piston parts, casings, valves and slides.
• Inspects horns for dents and defects.
• Sorts parts and may measure pistons as required.
