Job summary

Big Tex Trailer Manufacturing Llc is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift at the Mt. Pleasant location. You will direct final assembly operations, ensure safety, quality, and production standards, and lead a team of about 45 employees.

You will coordinate with the Plant Manager to achieve timely, cost-effective objectives, monitor performance, and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the shift.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years production supervisor experience.
• Experience managing 15–25 employees.
• Must exercise continuous leadership to focus plant efforts on priorities.
• High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage final assembly operations for the 2nd shift.
• Coordinate final assembly activities with Plant Manager to meet objectives.
• Monitor performance against production and quality standards.
• Promote a positive safety culture at all times.
• Provide direction to approximately 45 employees.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Focus on customer expectations, prevent problems, and drive continuous improvement.
