Job summary

Big Tex Trailers in Mount Pleasant, Texas is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to direct final assembly operations. You will ensure safety, quality, and production standards are met in line with company policies.

You will lead approximately 45 assembly staff, drive Lean initiatives, and focus on customer expectations and continuous improvement. This role requires hands-on leadership and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

3-5 years of production supervisor experience.
Experience managing 15-25 employees.
Proven leadership to drive plant priorities.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to give visual, written, and oral instructions.
Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to continuous improvement.
Heat tolerance and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Coordinate final assembly activities with Plant manager to meet shift objectives.
Monitor production and quality performance.
Promote and uphold a positive safety culture.
Provide direction to approximately 45 employees.
Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
Focus on meeting customer expectations and drive continuous improvement.
