Job summary

Big Tex Trailers in Mount Pleasant, Texas is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to direct final assembly operations. You will ensure safety, quality, and production standards are met in line with company policies.

You will lead approximately 45 assembly staff, drive Lean initiatives, and focus on customer expectations and continuous improvement. This role requires hands-on leadership and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of production supervisor experience.
• Experience managing 15-25 employees.
• Proven leadership to drive plant priorities.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to give visual, written, and oral instructions.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.
• Heat tolerance and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate final assembly activities with Plant manager to ensure 1st shift final assemble objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Monitor performance for production and quality standards.
• Promotes a positive safety culture at all times.
• Provides direction and leadership to personnel (Approximately 45 employees).
• Participation in Lean Manufacturing efforts & initiatives.
• Must focus on customers' expectations, prevent problems, and strive for continuous improvement resulting in improved results for themselves, customers and other employees.

Qualifications
