Job summary

Freeman Enclosure Systems is seeking a Final Assembler to join our Batavia, Ohio manufacturing team. You will assemble prefabricated components per blueprints and work instructions, read a tape measure, and use basic hand tools to ensure quality and accurate final assemblies.

The role requires comfortable engagement with ladders and mechanical components, with flexibility to assist other departments as needed to support plant operations.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints or shop drawings.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and tape measures.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and assembly instructions to assemble prefabricated components.
• Assemble, install, and secure components according to specifications and quality standards.
• Use basic hand tools safely and effectively; read a tape measure accurately.
• Inspect completed assemblies for correct fit, alignment, and quality.
• Follow safety policies and work collaboratively with other departments.
