Base pay range

$24.05/hr - $24.05/hr

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Final Assembler to join our team! Under general supervision, installs manufactured and purchased parts, jackets, equipment, and controls on burners and boilers. Makes interconnections between burners, accessories, and controls, including piping, tubing, and conduit. Performs wiring between the burner, control panel, and controls, in accordance with wiring diagrams or other specifications.

This is a full-time, union-hourly position located in Lancaster, PA. Hours are Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Review blueprints and pertinent data for control locations and special requests.
• Gather fittings and controls from stock, using appropriate materials.
• Pre-assemble gas train and control panel, bend aluminum tubing.
• Install baffles and heat exchanger wrapper ensuring proper fit and water tightness.
• Install jacket on lower part (heat exchanger).
• Install burner, gas mixer, gas train, etc., to complete combustion area.
• Complete upper jacket assembly.
• Prepare for shipment by installing and trimming cartons.
• Perform related work as directed, consistent with labor grade.

Qualifications/Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience/training, or equivalent.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical documents.
• Proficiency with measuring devices and basic math skills.
• Computer, scanner, and printer skills.
• Ability to report issues and maintain a positive work environment.
• Adherence to safety procedures and regulations.

Physical Demands

Frequent sitting, handling, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and talking/hearing. Occasional standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 100 pounds with accommodations.

Work Environment

Exposure to moving parts, weather conditions, high places, vibration, and loud noise. Reasonable accommodations available.
