Job summary

Benjamin Moore is seeking a Filling Line Operator on the 2nd shift to monitor the filling line, perform quality checks, and operate packaging equipment. You will calibrate machines, verify weights, seal lids, and document data for inventory control.

The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to safety SOPs. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, ensuring uninterrupted operation, and assisting with palletizing and case packing as needed.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Basic math skills, ie: addition/subtraction.
• Ability to work in a team environment and work cross-functionally.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and cleanliness.
• Ability to use company software and computer system programs.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work safely and follow SOP’s
• Ability to operate fill by weight machine and related equipment.
• Experience operating filling line equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor incoming quality of containers and supply area for uninterrupted filling line operation.
• Calibrate and operate filling machines; verify product and weights; retain samples for control lab.
• Ensure lids, labels, and adhesive are correct and properly applied.
• Maintain operation and minor adjustments of filling and packaging machinery.
• Accurately count fill and input data into inventory systems.
• Operate forklift and related equipment; ensure safety and cleanliness of area.
• Support safety guidelines and environmental/regulatory rules.
