Job summary

Benjamin Moore & Co. in Newark, NJ is seeking a Filling Line Operator to monitor the filling line, perform quality checks, calibrate machines, and ensure correct weights and labels.

You'll work Mon-Fri first shift, collaborate across departments, maintain safety, and operate multiple packaging machines. This role offers competitive pay and benefits as part of our total rewards package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills, i.e. addition/subtraction.
• Able to work in a team and cross-functional environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and cleanliness.
• Able to operate multiple packaging machines and line equipment.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor incoming quality of containers and ensure adequate supply for uninterrupted filling line operation.
• Calibrate and operate automatic filling machines; verify weights and labels.
• Ensure lids, labels, and cartons are correct and legible.
• Maintain operation of bail-o-matic, case packer, and palletizer.
• Input data accurately into terminal for inventory control; operate related equipment.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain clean work area throughout shift.
