Job summary

Benjamin Moore & Co. is seeking a Filling Line Operator to monitor the filling line, perform quality checks, and run related equipment with a focus on accuracy and safety. The role requires basic math, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will work with various machines (filling, lid, label, palletizer) to ensure smooth production and data entry for inventory control. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Basic math skills (addition/subtraction).
• Ability to work in a team environment and cross-functionally.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and cleanliness.
• Ability to use company software and computer systems.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work safely and follow SOPs.
• Overtime and weekend availability when required.
• Ability to operate filling-related machinery.
• Environmental factors and exposure considered.

Responsibilities

• Monitor incoming quality of containers and ensure adequate container supply for uninterrupted filling line operation.
• Calibrate and operate filling machines; verify product weight and appearance; retain samples for QC.
• Ensure lids, labels, and adhesives are present and correctly applied for products.
• Maintain operation and small adjustments of related equipment (bail-o-matic, case packer, palletizer).
• Input fill data into the terminal for inventory control and use forklift as needed.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines and keep area clean.
• Support additional duties as requested.
