Job summary

Benjamin Moore is seeking a Filling Line Operator in Newark, NJ to monitor the filling line and perform quality checks on all products. You will operate filling machines, lid dropper, labeler, and palletizer while ensuring accurate data entry and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and cross-functionally.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and cleanliness.
• Ability to operate multiple packaging machines and related equipment.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor incoming quality of containers and supply area to ensure uninterrupted filling operations.
• Calibrate and operate filling machines; verify weights and product appearance; retain control samples.
• Ensure lids, labels, and packaging materials are adequately stocked and correctly applied.
• Maintain equipment like bail-o-matic, case packer, palletizer, and related systems.
• Input accurate data into terminal for inventory control; monitor forklift operations.
• Follow safety, environmental, and SOP guidelines; maintain clean work area.
