Job summary

Serco is seeking a Fighter Pilot/WSO/CSO/NFO Operations SME for the CAF DTC at Langley AFB, VA. You will support distributed training by role-playing fighter aircraft and coordinating LFEs and small-team events, while maintaining current threat knowledge and tactics through ongoing study.

The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR, and a track record as a fighter aviator with advanced degrees or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 9 years’ fighter aviator experience; or Master’s with 7 years’; or PhD with 4 years’ experience.
• Former Fighter Pilot, NFO, CSO, or WSO with aircraft such as F-15C/E/EX, F-16C, F/A-18, EA-18G, F-22, F-35.
• Thorough knowledge of AFTTP 3-1 fighter employment or service equivalent.
• Operationally relevant experience within the past 10 years (simulator experience allowed).
• Ability to travel 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support daily training by scheduling, mission planning, creating mission materials, briefing, executing, and debriefing LFEs and Small Team events.
• Attend CAF exercise planning conferences (e.g. RED FLAG) and meetings to discuss unit training requirements and incorporate them into missions.
• Provide consulting expertise to military/defense clients to develop and evaluate training and doctrine, including planning and execution phases.
