Job summary

Alpine School District seeks an Instructional Paraprofessional for Fifth Grade - Elementary to support the instructional program, assist with special needs students, and help implement IEP goals. Hours are 5.75 per day, Monday to Friday.

The hourly rate ranges from $15.69 (untrained, Lane 5) to $16.70 (Lane 6 with in-district training). Applicants must be 16+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and complete mandatory employee training within three months.

Responsibilities

• Adapts activities and materials to support classroom objectives.
• Administers first aid and medical assistance as directed.
• Administers tests, homework, and makeup work as needed.
• Assists data collection to monitor student progress.
• Assists students with self-care activities.
• Provides instruction in individual or group activities to reinforce learning.
• Maintains materials and records for mandated requirements.
• Monitors students during various school environments.
