Alpine School District is seeking an Instructional Paraprofessional for elementary at the non-contract, no benefits level. Hours are 3 per day with potential to increase to 5.

Hourly lanes start at $15.69 for untrained and $16.70 for trained employees who complete in-district training. The role focuses on supporting students with special needs, assisting teachers with instruction, behavior management, and clerical tasks within the resource classroom.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Employee training must be completed within the first 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Adapt classroom activities, assignments, and materials under supervision to support objectives and IEP goals.
• Provide first aid and health-related assistance as needed.
• Assist with testing, homework, and monitoring student progress.
• Supervise students in various settings to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Perform clerical duties to support operations in the classroom.
