Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join the Imaging team. You’ll be the frontline for keeping fielded imaging systems alive—triaging, diagnosing, and driving resolution across network, calibration, and hardware issues.

You’ll own fielded system reliability, run point on escalations, and turn recurring problems into runbooks and self‑service tooling. Travel about 15% for field support and deployment windows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in SRE, DevOps, field/systems engineering, or production support of deployed hardware/software systems.
• Strong Linux fundamentals, including troubleshooting real networking issues.
• Ability to diagnose across system boundaries without full visibility.
• Comfortable owning a structured on-call rotation and after-hours coverage.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own fielded system reliability and uptime for imaging deployments.
• Run point on escalations through support channels and escalation funnels.
• Turn recurring issues into runbooks, diagnostics, and self-service tooling.
• Hold the boundary with engineering and reproduce defects for handoff.
• Feed reliability insights back into the product for better observability and upgrades.
• Travel approximately 15% for field support and deployment windows.
